The design of the 335 combines the warm sound of archtop full resonance guitars with the low feedback intonation of solid-bodies. The reason for this is a sustain block glued in the middle of the body between top and back. First introduced in 1958 with P-90 single coils, it was equipped with double coils in the 60s. The result is a fuller tone with minimised background noise. A high-quality hardshell case completes the range.
