Duesenberg has taken into account the wishes of many guitarists and developed exclusive double cutaway versions of the Starplayer TV and C.C. models. In addition to the features known from the Duesenberg classics, such as the semi-acoustic maple body with a seasoned spruce top, the sturdy maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, the proven and ingenious pickup design with Domino P-90 and Domino C.C., the Starplayer TV and the C.C. are also available in a double cutaway version;With the proven and ingenious Domino P-90 and Grand Vintage humbucker pickups and the sovereign Duesenberg Deluxe tremolo, the features of the two Doube Cutaway models have been enriched by a few luxurious elements: Matching headstock, five-layer binding around the body and a gold/black-backed pickguard made of Plexiglas look noble and ensure a stylish appearance. The Fullerton C.C. and TV could have come from Fullerton, the town in Orange County (California) where the cradle of the electric guitar once stood, if only because of their performance and their classic look. In fact, today there is a direct link to this place steeped in guitar history, as the American Duesenberg distributor is based in Fullerton, just a few metres away from Leo Fender's first workshop.
