With its Paulas, Epiphone is moving closer to its parent company Gibson  Visually, the manufacturer underlines its intention with a modified silhouette of the headstock that cannot deny a certain similarity to the American original.
Mahogany body, glued-in neck and maple top are the basis for the sound that has inspired generations of musicians. The ProBuckers used offer pure Paula sound. The electrics are standard as on the old originals: The pickups are selected via a traditional toggle. The sound is controlled by a tone and a volume control. The 60s version differs in neck profile from the 50s models, a peculiarity that we also find again and again in the expensive originals. The neck is slimmer and offers a lot of comfort in all positions. The neck is slimmer and offers a lot of comfort in all registers.
Epiphones Standard Les Pauls are solid instruments, which should find a worthy home on every stage or in every rehearsal room.
