Mahogany as the base wood stands for power and foundation in the sound spectrum, while the neck glued together from three maple strips provides the necessary tops. The pickups are the famous active EMG 18 and 85 in a widened 8-string version, a pickup that is known to make a lot of steam. The active circuit is free of unwanted interference and noise. The evertune system has its own special meaning. A special roller-spring system keeps the strings under tension at all times and prevents detuning problems even when strumming harder. This makes it possible to use the strings, which are comparatively thin for a baritone scale, in 09 gauge.
