Ibanez has set out to write a new chapter in headless with the Q series and has solved this problem. Users can now use any conventional string for their instrument. The construction is quite simple. Similar to the Floyd Rose, the strings are fixed in the nut with an Allen screw. Tuning is done at the bridge. The Mono-Tune bridge has a wide intonation range, so that even low tuning can be realized without problems.
The nato body has been specially chambered, which adds to the lightness. The construction is far away from top-heaviness anyway.
According to the manufacturer, the installed Q58 humbuckers are specially designed for headless guitars. The sound is clearly defined across all frequencies with a healthy bass component and radiant highs. Thanks to a sophisticated "dyma-MIX9" circuit, the user has numerically 9 sound variations at his disposal, diversity without limits.
The fact that Ibanez guitars are comfortable to play doesn't really need to be mentioned at this point. Visually upgraded with an attractively grained top, the QX527 should leave a lasting impression on the audience.
