NUX Mighty Plug MP3
Since the release of the first MIGHTY PLUG by NUX for bass and guitar, amp-modelling headphone amps have become increasingly popular and made practising on tour or on the road a breeze.
The MP3 combines a variety of different amp types, speaker cabinets or effects pedals and even offers the possibility to simulate acoustic guitars with the acoustic amp modelling and its acoustic IRs. In addition to 34 pre-programmed premium IRs, the MP-3 Mighty Plug PRO now also has up to 20 of its own memory locations to load and save third-party IRs via the Mighty EditorTM editing software.
The gadget can be used with both bass and electric guitar. If you are in the mood for acoustic sounds, you will be served with acoustic simulations based on impulse response technology. And that is the real strength of the tool, which is not limited to fixed presets, but offers an opulent palette of amp modelling and effects.
By the way, almost all settings of the device can be adjusted via an app (mobile) or software (PC). Change the order of the effect blocks? No problem! With the free Mighty Amp app and the Mighty Editor editing software, signal blocks and parameters can be changed in no time at all. Even as an interface, the MP-3 Mighty Plug PRO does its job with flying colours. With the integrated USB loopback function, even a live stream of the next session is possible without any effort.
