Like its combo siblings 1974X and 1973X, the 1958X is equipped with two independent input channels. The normal and the tremolo channel can be bridged via patch cable to make the basic sound a bit denser and bluesier. As in the two models mentioned above, three ECC83 preamp tubes, two EL84 power amp tubes and one GZ81 rectifier tube do their sound-shaping work here. The speaker configuration with two Celestion G10-F15 speakers promises the combination of fast response with extended bass foundation compared to the well-known 1974X guitar combo.
