The Powerball II is the second generation of an amplifier that, at the end of the 90s, was clearly addressed to the up-and-coming metalheads who knew little about the poppy, Californian power metal sounds of the early 90s. The guitars were tuned lower and lower and instead of jubilant lead acrobatics, there were now tons of heavy riffs on the ears. The Powerball took this into account. A few optimisations made sense, as it turned out. Thanks to sophisticated tone controls, separate gain and (!) volume controls for the four channels, as well as the "Engl"-esque two switchable masters, we are dealing with a powerhouse that can be much more than just evil. With a sensitive hand, a wide spectrum of sounds can be elicited from the colleague, which should serve (almost) all genres in terms of rock.
