Ibanez SR300EBL-WK, Weathered Black
The SR300 models are the affordable entry into the popular Soundgear series. Narrow, comfortable necks, a slim body shape and electronics provide an excellent playing feel at a small price. The Nyatoh body together with the five-stripe and therefore very stiff maple/walnut neck ensures a fast attack and long sustain. The two Power Span humbuckers convert this sound formation into an electrical signal with high output, which can be processed not only with an active three-band tone control, but also with the so-called Power Tap switch. This makes it possible to switch between different pickup circuit modes (single coil, single coil with bass boost, humbucker).
Thanks to the ergonomically adapted body and the thin and narrow neck, the bass can be played quickly and comfortably. There is no top-heaviness, and the instrument settles into a comfortable position when standing. Due to the low, well-distributed weight, even long rehearsals or gigs are no problem.
