The TRBX505 is a modern bass with active electronics at an attractive price. The solid mahogany body is joined by a five-ply neck made of maple and mahogany, so the best conditions for the formation of a full and warm tone are given. The HiMass bridge effectively guides the string vibrations into the body and, with a string spacing of 18 mm, offers enough space for all finger striking techniques. The active three-band tone control can also be switched off if desired. There is no difference in level between active and passive mode, as long as the controls are in the middle position. Thus, woody, warm tones are available as well as a defined hi-fi sound. The pots are heavy enough to be finely adjustable.
The bass is surprisingly light and very comfortably shaped, so that long rehearsals or gigs are no problem.
