Since 1982, the Fender subsidiary Squier has been building budget-oriented replicas of its own American and Mexican originals, and doing so very successfully, as we know. In the meantime, the designers have succeeded in placing models on the market that are distinguished by a certain degree of originality.
The Classic Vibe series combines long-established features with modern ones, such as newly developed pickups or high-gloss finishes. The black block inlays in the maple fingerboard, the black neck binding and the likewise black pickguard on the visible wood grain give us a tasteful image of the classic. A slim neck, cleanly dressed frets and solid electronics generate a bass that should not only be interesting for beginners.
