The headless construction and the specially developed body allow the player to handle the model comfortably, whether standing or sitting. The contoured, ergonomic design and chambered body make for a light, balanced and comfortable instrument that is ideal for long sets or practice sessions. The shaping behind the lower horn on the back makes it easier to reach the higher registers. In addition, the upper half of the back is cut off so that the bass is a little closer to the body, resulting in better control and a more ergonomic feel; Two Bartolinis produce a punchy, modern sound, free of annoying hum, and offer a balanced, warm response with a tighter low end and a fuller midrange. The so-called Vari-mid 3-band EQ has a variable mid-frequency control that can be used to effectively optimise the sound. It should be mentioned that you can even switch between active and passive mode with a mini switch.
The manufacturer has once again done a great job with the design of the EHBs. They are B&Bs that have a lot to offer in terms of functionality and also show attention to detail, be it the fuse jack, the strap locks or the special, reliable bridge construction. And on top of that, it sounds really good.
