Trace Elliot returns as a brand and now operates under the umbrella of the equipment giant Peavey. All the more reason for those who have grown fond of the products with the black and green outfit in the past to be pleased that there are definitely independent products under the traditional label. One of these is certainly the Transit B bass preamp in multi-pedal format. The part is an effect unit and preamp in equal measure. Two DI outs, one with EQ, one without, send the signal to the mixer, the power amp or the sound card, depending on the application. Compressor, distortion and a five-band tone control offer enough room for creative possibilities. The design with backlighting can be considered successful, especially since the LEDs mutate into a suitable display when the tuner is activated. In addition to the power supply unit, a practical carrying case is included in the scope of delivery.
