Phil Jones Bass D-400 Black Head
Phil Jones has long been one of those manufacturers who make life easier for bassists in the truest sense of the word. Its amplifiers are characterised by low mass and slim dimensions. The company caused a sensation when it equipped bass combos with 5- or 6-inch speakers that sounded like full-blown backline amps. The D-400 top continues along this path. The minibolide weighs just 1.3 kg and still delivers a grown-up 400 watts. This is made possible by modern Class D technology and space-saving switching power supplies. The equipment is impressive: limiter, Speakon output, headphones, sophisticated EQ and more make the D-400 a faithful companion in clubs and rehearsal rooms.
