The English manufacturer Hiwatt has undoubtedly coined the "British Sound" together with Marshall and Vox and was due to the quality of its products - Fane speakers, wiring according to military standards, solid birch plywood housing - early popular with artists such as Glenn Cornick, the bassist of Jethro Tull or Pete Townhend of The Who.
The B300/15 is an ideal combo for rehearsals and, thanks to a power output of 300 watts, also for smaller and medium-sized concerts. The 15-incher produces a defined and powerful sound, which can be flexibly shaped with a 7-band tone control and a contour filter. Especially when practicing, the headphone jack proves very useful; live or in the studio, the signal can be sent directly to the mixing console through a D.I. output. With a weight of about 43 kg, the combo is quite heavy, but Hiwatt-typically built like a tank, thanks to the solid housing it can take a lot.
