Ampeg Micro-CL Stack Special Edition Red
Following the general trend in the amplifier sector towards lighter, more compact and also easier to transport equipment, Ampeg has developed the Micro-CL Stack to offer a small version of the SVT CL top. Its basic sound is typical Ampeg, warm, with rich B&Ws, punchy mids and finely resolved highs. This can be further shaped by means of a very musical three-band tone control. Furthermore, there is a volume-adjustable aux input for looping in backing tracks or a metronome; useful features, since the Micro-Stack is more likely to be used as a sound system at home. In order to be able to use effects without any problems, the Micro-CL also has an effect loop on the rear side.
The Micro-CL Stack presents itself as a compact system that nevertheless delivers the typical Ampeg sound, and that at volume levels that are gentle on neighbourly relations. Live, the 100 transistor watts quickly reach their limits, but smaller pub gigs or playing in an acoustic combo should not be a problem. Moreover, the signal can be looped into the PA via the line output and a D.I. box.
Adding to this is the lovingly recreated look of the historical original.
