Ampeg Micro-CL Stack
Following the general trend in the amplifier sector towards lighter, more compact and also easier to transport equipment, Ampeg has developed the Micro-CL Stack in order to be able to offer a small version of the SVT CL top. The basic sound is typical Ampeg: warm, with rich B&Ws, punchy mids and finely resolved highs. A three-band tone control intervenes effectively in the sound. Furthermore, an aux input with adjustable volume is available for connecting an MP3 player or a metronome, useful features since the Micro-Stack is more likely to be used as an audio system at home. To be able to use effects without any problems, the Micro-CL Stack has an effect loop on the rear side.
The Micro-CL Stack presents itself as a compact system that nevertheless delivers the typical Ampeg sound, and that at volume levels that are gentle on neighbourly relations. 100 watts of power should be sufficient for smaller pub gigs or playing in an acoustic combo. Moreover, the signal can be looped into the PA via the line output and a D.I. box.
