With more than 45 years of experience not only in the design and construction of bass amplifiers and cabinets, but also of sound equipment for cinema and studio and last but not least as a bass player, Phil Jones is a name to be taken seriously in the field of amplifiers and speakers for us woofers.A special feature is Jones' preference for 5-inch speakers, which provide twice as much sound pressure as half as many ten-inchers, but with a very fast attack and a high degree of sound definition due to their small size.
This is also demonstrated by the present combo amplifier. With its small dimensions and low weight of just 12 kg, thanks to its neodymium speakers it is perfectly suited for all applications from the living room to the rehearsal room and studio to the medium-sized club stage. And thanks to features such as a headphone output, a line input and the DI output, all musical solutions can be realised.
