In 1996, Italian Marco De Vergiliis, who had previously worked in the amplifier industry, joined Parsek, where he initially worked in marketing, support and sales. However, in the late 90s he met Sterling Ball from Music Man and together they developed Music Man's Audiophile amplifier range. This was also the starting point for the use of lightweight neodymium speakers, for which the Markbass brand, launched by De Vergiliis in 2001, is still known today.
The Traveler 151P is a lightweight and compact 1x15 bass speaker with tweeter, which thanks to custom speakers from B&C produces a decent bass foundation, but which does not lack definition due to the adjustable tweeter. The speaker can be used on its own for smaller gigs, but if more power is needed, it is no problem at all to connect it to other Markbass speakers, e.g. in 4x10 or 2x10 format.
