The CB-60SCE combines a solid spruce top with mahogany for neck and body and an Indian laurel fingerboard. Thanks to the opaque black finish, the bass looks very appealing. The Venetian cutaway also contributes to this, allowing comfortable playing up to the highest registers. The easy-to-play neck also supports the good playability. Thanks to the solid spruce top, the tone is clear and well articulated. It is picked up in detail by a piezo pickup developed by Fishman especially for Fender.
