The sounding triangle!
With the popularity of opera, the use of triangles also spread. In many of Mozart's operas, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Liszt's B-flat major Piano Concerto, the triangle was used for the first time in the orchestra. Nowadays, the triangle is used in musical climaxes, rhythm variations and increasingly in Brazilian folklore.
