Kettle Drums

The loudest of all orchestral instruments!

In the middle of the 15th century, the kettledrum replaced the popular hand kettledrum and developed into the typical instrument of the Baroque era. Great composers such as J.S. Bach, L.v. Beethoven, H. Berlioz or B. Bartók increasingly used the timpani in correlation with the trumpet part. Whether for Ravel's Bolero, Handel's Fireworks Music or Carter's Timpani Solo, you can find the right timpani in our shop.
