You sit at your computer, make drum movements with your hands and feet in the air, which are recorded and transmitted by a camera, and hit drums and cymbals that you can see on the screen. This is possible because the drumsticks supplied have reflectors on the tip that are captured by the camera. So do the feet, to which you strap reflectors. The sound of your playing is now audible on the computer, so you play the drums, see which instrument you hit and hear its sound directly. But you only make movements in the air. You can use this air drum kit on any computer. You can take it anywhere because the packaging is small and flat and fits in any bag/backpack. If you use headphones, no one but you can hear what you are playing, because it is absolutely silent in the room. You can also use Aerodrums to create your own virtual drum sets, control the sound of the instruments, record your own playing and much more.Aerodrums is much cheaper than an acoustic or electronic drum kit. But you can play/practice drums with it like you would on a real drum set and even perform live on a stage.
