- Remo Controlled Sound Clear 14" Top Black Dot Single-ply transparent headshell with Black Dot on top The single-ply, 0.25 millimetre thick transparent headshells are reinforced with a 0.13 millimetre thick Black Dot in the middle. Outside the Dot, the Controlled Sound Clear Top Black Dot heads have the wide dynamic range and sensitivity of an Ambassador, while when played on the Black Dot, the result is a more focused and compressed sound with controlled overtones and clear attack. In addition, the Black Dot significantly extends the life of the head. Specifications:
