- Evans EMAD Heavyweight 18" Bass Drumhead Double Layered Bass Drumhead EMAD Heavyweight drumheads are made of two layers of 10 mil thick foil (2 x 0.25 mm), making them the thickest and most durable bass drumheads in the entire EVANS line-up. Thanks to the EMAD damping system with externally mounted damping ring, additional damping in the drum is no longer required.
