The Ergo-Rider combines the advantages of a round seat with those of a saddle seat. It offers the drummer a wide range of movement as well as stability during playing.

- Drumset seat with PVC seat surface, backrest and swivel spindle
- Glide-Tite Grip Joint: allows for secure mounting thanks to a metal-on-metal contact point. With its extremely stable base, it can withstand even the strongest heavy-hitters.
- Seat Lock: The two-piece swivel joint system for an above-average connection between seat and bracket and the large wing nut for easy and secure tightening. Tama has also been able to eliminate the wobble that normally affects the connection between seat and rig.
- Super Stabilizer Design: By reducing the distance from centre throne pipe to floor, a lower centre of gravity is created. Additional stability is provided by the extended tripod and the double braced legs of the stool.
- Extra-large rubber feet: They are 1.5 times as large as those of the previous models and guarantee optimum stability.
