For more than 20 years, the foot machines of the Iron Cobra series have stood for impeccable running characteristics, extensive adjustment options and a high degree of reliability even in the toughest everyday touring. It is not for nothing that the Iron Cobra is one of the most popular all-round pedals ever. Now it's time for the next evolutionary step: the most striking feature is certainly the beater design, which provides a fatter sound and even better performance. The movable spring suspension allows for an even smoother feel, while the larger base plate, the wider frame and the newly designed, three-part heel plate further increase stability and robustness. On top of that, the proven Para Clamp II tension hoop clamp now has a rubber coating that guarantees a firm hold on the bass drum and prevents the tension hoop from being scratched. Last but not least, the Tama engineers now also use the 40% lighter LiteSprocket chain guide known from the Speed Cobra for the Iron Cobra models.
