- Tama Tension Locks Tuning lock for tension screws The Tension Lock is an accessory that prevents tension screws from loosening during playing. Simply place it on the head of the screw; the shape adapts perfectly. On the other hand, thanks to the elastic O-ring around the hole, the drum can be tuned without having to loosen the Tension Lock. A small accessory that every drummer will appreciate. With eight evenly placed bumpers around the hole, the Tension Lock fits perfectly on the square head of the tension bolts. This prevents the bolts from coming loose. The O-ring integrated in the Tension Lock is flexible, so that different shapes and sizes of tension bolts between different manufacturers can be accommodated.
