The Color Sound saga continues. Already in 1984 Paiste showed coloured cymbals with the COLORSOUND 5 cymbals, followed by Stewart Copeland's Blue Bell Ride, Aquiles Priester's Giga Bell Ride and Danny Carey's Dry Heavy Ride, not to forget Joey Jordison's black Alphas. The coloured coating is extremely resistant and shortens the sustain a bit, the cymbals sound a bit drier.
